Good post. Yes; from the Top, the Hitter has a new (10-5-E) Plane Line on which the motion of the Hands and Clubshaft takes place. This new Plane Line is also called the Angle of Approach and is nothing more than a straight line drawn from Impact to Low Point. The farther back in the stance the ball is placed, the more "to the right" this Angle of Approach.

Arnold Palmer's "whirly-bird" action from Follow-through to Finish was nothing more than Hands and Clubshaft staying on the new 10-5-E Plane. I think some Hitters get into trouble trying to Finish on the 10-5-A Plane.

Thanks for your reply. Much respect for your excellent contributions to this forum. Just to clarify a couple of things . . .

Since 10-5-E is the new Plane Line, would the Aiming Point and thus Thrust be relative to 10-5-E Plane Line? Also, if a person were view a Hitter's Stroke from the "down the line" position and they ASSUMED the target line and Plane Line were Square, would it seem to the untrained eye the the impact were "inside-out?" But the Stroke itself wouldn't be inside out because the Plane Line is Closed to the Line of Flight?

Many say "swing left after Impact" or swing back "inside," so due to the Hitters Closed 10-5-E Plane Line he would swing "less left" relative to the Square Plane Line of the Swinger?
