It's a WONDERFUL drill to learn a swinging motion. I tell more advanced players to do it. If you can swing a wedge with your left arm only and produce a small draw. You know how to "swing" with a horizontal hinge. Then just "slowly" put your right hand back on the club. |

How about Retief Goosen? I have a man-crush on that guy's motion. :) One of the more under-rated swingers in my mind.

Tiger's Rhythm is off. He needs smooooother and heavier motion. He has a few alignments that make his move harder than it needs to be. |

He must really be a huge Homer fan and wants to win equal numbers of majors hitting AND swinging - just for the challenge! |

"A Slammer Dunk"
Good call strav! Mr. Kelley often referenced Snead 1946 book "How to Play Golf"...not for what Snead said, but what he did. Snead's record speaks for itself and his Swing was a thing of beauty.

Classic Snead
Beautiful example of Standard Knee Action (10-16-A) and Standard Foot Action (10-17-A) done properlly -- with a Stationary Head (1-L-1/2).
For a Textbook Golfing Machine Swinging Pattern, look no futher than Yoda. For a Classic Swinging Pattern however...this is one great motion |
