2-J-1

Can I have the views of TGMers on 2-J-1 and how to grip the club respectively for hitting and swinging the "longer shots". Thanks

I think more specifically you mean....

Horizontal/Angled hinging...

Since this is a minor point of controversy (at least with me), I'll give you my take...

First, the grip is taken at impact fix per 10-2-0 just so we are on the same page.

Secondly, per, 2-J-1, depending on Horizontal/Angled Hinging, the clubface is either open or almost square (versus actually being closed). For Horizontal Hinging, it is more open for longer shots, closer to square for shorter shots (the reason is the ball is on the clubface longer). Angled, more closed (Yoda favors closed - meaning closed to allow for layback, etc - I am not on the same page as he) and less open. Basically - TRIAL AND ERROR!!!
