The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)
This is I feel one VERY sound action,if I read this correct this would be a major factor in also defeating the onset of the dreaded over the top move as it keep you more on plane for downswing,and even if there was a tendency to hit from top it would also assist in keeping you more on plane to a degree and attack the back of the ball.Opinions please.
In swinging the right foot is moved in the follow through as a result of the rest of the machine moving.The right ankle is before the right toes in the chain,therefore it is pulled forward (toward target),then up .It is a reaction and it does not push.
