Rumor has it that after he retired from baseball, he became a 'serious' golfer. I need to confirm this part...according to my buddy, he was leading tour school after the first two rounds (not sure if final stage or not). In his third round, he started playing bad and after about eight holes, picked up and WD.....yesterday when it was brought up, he smiled about it, but didn't elaborate any more.
