Yes, it's a relationship. However please realize that if you have a 10-2-B grip your left wrist will not be "visually" flat, it will have a very slight cup to it however it is flat in relation to the flying wedge.

And if you use a 10-2-D grip, you will have a noticable "bend" in that left wrist, ala Daly or Couples.
