I have had humungous problems with getting off plane by having the dreaded "heavy head," but I think I have found if I take the club away focusing on extensor action with the right hand pulling the left back, I stay on plane much better. I need to spend some time getting used to what seems to be more right hand/arm in the swing than I have had since I was about 12 (I' 63 now).
