I'd said it before, even here, that i think a lot of women could hit the ball further if they learned how to hold the lag and hit down more.

Most of the women i see they all have some sort of clubhead throwaway/early release/bent left wrist going on. We all know how this effects ball compression, ball speed, and distance.

It you watch some of the longer hitters on the woman tour they all have much better flat left wrists, hold the lag longer, and don't throw it away as bad.

Its no coincidence that the ones that do the above really well (like Wie, Sorenstam, Park, Davies to name a few) all hit the ball pretty long.

Also i was looking at my golf videos that i have saved on my computer at home and i have a good one of annika and she has a boat load of float load Granted she isn't the longest but i truly think she doesn't swing as fast as she could.
