For my putting stroke, I've elected to go "cross-handed" (left-hand-low). As Lynn instructed in AG(DVD), structurally, I'm aligning both arms on plane. I, also, zero out PA2 with grip up cuff of left hand. My motion is an ARM motion. It's a "push-rod like", basic minor stroke of the right arm utilizing a cross-line, "no roll feel" angled hinged motion. I index PP3 for controlling pace. Sometimes I do use HH for longer lag putts. My question is this: I know that Lynn was adamant about an "Arm Stroke is an Arm Stroke by Definition!"... AFTER the backstroke or Start Back is initiated by the right arm ,with the flexing right elbow occurring, is there any permissible allowance for the subsequent, subordinate right shoulder movement in the stroke? Sure, David. You are simply adding a bit of right-shoulder turn thrust to hour right arm drive-out. Doing so, you've added the 4th Power Accumulator and now have a "Two-Barrel" Stroke.
